The model represents aeroplane NC11043.

Structure: Fuselage is a fabric-covered box of balsa sheet and strip. Wings have hardwood spars and 3/32in balsa sheet ribs. Fabric covering is doped nylon.

Flying characteristics: Fast and very stable in level flight, this model can fly most of the usual aerobatic manoevres. Very easy to land.

First flown in 1982, this model has won trophies at a number of events in the UK, including for scale pylon racing.

Current status: Worn out, donated to a school for display.
