A series of pictures showing the Albatros DVa displayed at Stow Maries, but seen here at Old Warden, including cockpit detail. This aeroplane is an exact reproduction of the original, built by The Vintage Aviator Ltd. in New Zealand. Every component from the engine to instruments and airframe is a mix of restored original parts and new exact copies of the original. The Albatros DVa was a single-seat fighter aeroplane flown by the Imperial German Air Service during the First World War. This example represents the aircraft flown by Leutnant Paul Baumer of Jasta 5.
